PERMANENT MAKEUP FAQ

Pain levels can vary depending on individual sensitivity. If you're approaching your menstrual period or have sensitive skin, you may experience more tenderness. However, we offer numbing cream to help alleviate discomfort.

Yes, I apply numbing cream after outlining the brows and after the first pass of shading to ensure optimal numbing throughout the procedure.

Microblading and powder ombre are two popular semi-permanent eyebrow techniques. Microblading uses a handheld tool to create fine, hair-like strokes, while powder ombre uses a tattoo machine to shade the brows.

Long-term, microblading may result in more scarring and is not ideal for oily skin. Therefore, I specialize in powder ombre, which typically causes less scarring and is suitable for all skin types.

Touch-up appointments for powder ombre brows typically occur every 12-18 months. However, the exact frequency may vary depending on factors like your skin type, aftercare regimen, and desired level of fullness.

Some clients may achieve their desired results after just one or two initial sessions, while others may require additional touch-ups. I'll work with you to determine the best schedule for maintaining your beautiful brows.

The initial powder ombre brows session typically can take up to 3 hours.

The most time-consuming part of the process is usually the initial mapping and design of the brows. Once the desired shape is determined, the actual tattooing process is typically completed within a shorter timeframe.

Bleeding during a powder ombre brow procedure can vary depending on individual factors. Following pre-care instructions, such as avoiding blood thinners, can help minimize the risk of bleeding. Clients with sensitive or thin skin may be more prone to bleeding, but we have techniques in place, like masking, to address this.

The healing process for powder ombre brows typically involves several stages:

  • Days 2-5: The brows may appear darkest and thickest during this period.
  • The brows will begin to flake and peel as they heal.
  • Once the peeling is complete, the brows may appear very light.
  • The color will gradually return to the brows over the following weeks.
  • The final look of your brows will be revealed in approximately 6-10 weeks.

Please note that individual healing experiences may vary.
